Canada Day Celebrations Saturday July 1, 2017

Its Canada's 150th Birthday... Join the country for the biggest birthday celebration to date.

Celebrating years of peace and happiness, Niagara Falls brings a host of entertainments and events that span from music to firework dispalys on Canada Day. Get to know the events, shows, community displays, live music venues, parades and more.

To mark Canada’s 150 birthday on July 1st, the city of Niagara Falls will host 150 different events throughout the year. The city of Niagara Falls will spend $150 000 promoting and hosting events throughout the year celebrating 150 years since confederation.

RUN for St. John Ambulance - Oakes Park, Niagara Falls.

This year there is 2 Events to choose from 5 KM RUN/WALK and 1 KM KIDS FUN RUN

  • 8:00 am Registration at Oakes Park
  • 9:00 am 1 KM Run begins
  • 9:15 am 5 KM Run/Walk begins

Cost:
5KM Run/Walk:- Early Bird $30, $35 after June 17, $38 after June 29
1KM Kids Fun Run:- FREE for Kids 12 and under! For 13 + Early Bird $10, $15 after June 17, $20 after June 29

Prizes and medals per age categories. Parking available at Oakes Park and across the street at St. Andrews Church

  • 9:00 am - Citizenship Ceremony at the Niagara Falls Public Library.
  • 10:00 am - 11:00 am - Niagara Falls Concert Band in front of the Niagara Falls Public Library on Victoria Avenue.
  • 11:00 am Parade begins at Victoria Ave & Armoury St, travels north along Victoria to Valley Way, east (right) onto Queen St.
  • 12:20 pm Parade ends at Queen Street and St. Clair Avenue.

CANADA 150 PARADE & HERITAGE DISPLAYS ( JUNE 30 to JULY 2, 2017 )

@ 228 South Mill Street South, Ridgeway, Ontario, Canada.

Royal Canadian Legion Branch 230, Ridgeway and its sponsors are hosting Heritage Displays starting Friday, June 30th at 4:00 pm at the Ridgeway Legion and in the Village Square in downtown Ridgeway.

The displays includes Living History Displays, Reenactors, Vintage Military Convoy, Live entertainment all weekend long, and walking tours of our Ridgeway Battlefield National Historic Site.

All events are free admission

  • Friday, June 30th - 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm
  • Saturday, July 1st - 7:30 am to 9:00 pm
  • Sunday, July 2nd - 9:00 am to 8:00 pm

Fort Erie's Canada Day Parade is on Saturday, July 1st starting at 11 am in the Historic Village of Ridgeway.

All events will take place between the Ridgeway Legion, Village Square and the Ridgeway Battlefield National Historic Site
