Dufferin Islands popularly known as the Great Canadian Outdoors is a group of four beautiful inter-laced islands linked with walking paths and bridges is maintained by the Niagara Parks Commission. The entire island during the Winter Festival of Lights will be lighted up and decorated by over 220,000 LED lights arousing the whole region into a delirium.

There is no admission fee to view the illuminations but donations are gratefully accepted by Festival Ambassadors at the exit of Dufferin Islands (suggested contribution $5 - $10 per car), with proceeds used to enhance the Festival's lights and displays. Tour groups are encouraged to donate $1/person on the bus.
