Transformed from a peach-packing barn in the late 1800’s, The Ice House Winery, founded by winemaker Jamie Macfarlane and wife Karen King, a sensory specialist, dedicate their focus to the art of producing Icewine. Jamie has created 5 Northern Ice Premium Icewines, winning several Gold and Grand Gold medals. The taste and learn experience offers the chance for visitors to try these awarding-winning Icewines with unique snack pairings to enhance the flavorful nuances of the wine, and the Icehouse Slushies provide a refreshing twist. Created by Jamie and Karen to serve as an Icewine Cocktail to “toast” any special occasion, the result of the Slushie is a “wow” flavor that guests love- Vidal and Cabernet Slushies are available plus a non-alcoholic Slushie for people of all ages!
