Polo Niagara 2014

Saturday, September 6, 2014
The Commons at Butler's Barracks, 440 King Street,
Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, Canada.

Polo Niagara is coming to Niagara-on-the-Lake on September 6, 2014.

The Friends of Fort George, in partnership with the Toronto Polo Club and Parks Canada, presenting the 'Polo Niagara'—a public demonstration match played on one of the most historic sites in Canada, the Niagara Common. Polo was played on this field by military officers and gentlemen and it has long-served as a training ground for Canadian soldiers preparing to go to war.

This year, Polo Niagara brings in Niagara's history back to life, as we commemorate the 100th anniversary of World War One, and the 75th anniversary of World War Two.

In addition to the two polo matches, the event will include entertainment such as music, awards, parade, boutiques and more.

Proceeds from this event will help support the Friends of Fort George, a non-profit organization that works in partnership with Parks Canada to promote, preserve and protect Niagara's National Historic Sites.

General Admission: $10 which includes parking fee.
