Terrapin Point
Terrapin Point is located at the western end of Goat Island nearest the brink of the Horseshoe Falls.
Terrapin Point offers a full view of Niagara Falls from just above the threshold. It is an important part of Niagara Falls State Park as it is a favourite place to watch the majestic Niagara falls.
On June 15, 2012, Daredevil Nik Wallenda began his walk from Terrapin Point on the U.S. side of the falls and successfully crossed Niagara Falls and reached the Canadian side.
