From US Midwest & Ontario
Take Hwy 401 to Hwy 403
Hwy 403 to the QEW Hwy (Queen Elizabeth Way)
QEW (East) to Niagara
Once you have crossed over the St. Catharines Skyway stay in the right hand lane, you will be exiting at exit 38B (Niagara Stone Road and Niagara-on-the-Lake). Go over the highway and at the second light (York Road), turn right. Follow York Road through the stop sign at St. Davids until you reach the Niagara Parkway.
At the stop sign, turn left on the Niagara Parkway and proceed north, go down
the hill and on to Line 8. (2.0 mi.)
Watch for SHALAMAR LAKE CAMPGROUND sign on the left after passing the statue of
the soldier.
Turn left on Line 8.

From Northeast US
Take US 90 West towards Buffalo, New York
In greater Buffalo take exit #53
Sign for exit #53 also says Bridge to Canada & US 190 North
Drive approximately 8 Miles and take exit #9 to Peace Bridge
After crossing the International Bridge, proceed north towards Toronto on the
QEW.
After passing the Niagara Falls interchange on the QEW, the second exit is Mountain
Road. (Next exit after Thorold Stone Rd).
Exit right from QEW to Mountain Road and turn right (East) at the stop sign.
Proceed to next stop light.
Turn left on St. Paul and proceed down the hill to the 4-way stop in St. Davids.
(1.6 mi.)
Turn right on to York Road and proceed to the Niagara Parkway. (2.4 mi.)
Turn left (North) on the Niagara Parkway and proceed to Line 8. (1.0 mi.)
Watch for SHALAMAR LAKE CAMPGROUND sign on the left after passing the statue of
the soldier.
Turn left on Line 8.
From the Queenston / Lewiston International Bridge:
After crossing the bridge and going through Canadian customs, proceed to the Stanley Ave exit on the right. (2 Mi.)
This is the first exit from the bridge.
Proceed to the stop sign and turn right. Continue to the next stop sign and go left. (Niagara-on-the-Lake) Proceed to the traffic circle. (2.1mi.) Take the second exit (Niagara-on-the-Lake) off of the traffic circle and go down the hill.
Continue north on the Niagara Parkway to Line 8. (1.5 MI.)
Watch for SHALAMAR LAKE CAMPGROUND sign on the left after passing the statue of the soldier in front of the River Bank Gallery.
Turn left on Line 8.
From Rainbow Bridge
After exiting the bridge on the Canadian side, turn right to the stop light.
Turn right at this light and proceed to the stop light at River Road.
At River Road turn left and proceed North. (7.9 mi. to Line #8)
Continue on River Road / Niagara Parkway
Go down the hill (stay right) at Queenston Heights Park and proceed to Line #8
Watch for SHALAMAR LAKE CAMPGROUND sign on the left after passing the statue of
the soldier.
Turn left on Line 8

3: Take the Q.E.W. exit towards HAMILTON. 1.07 km
4: Merge onto QEW. 100.98 km
5: Take the HWY-405 exit- exit number 37- on the left towards QUEENSTON. 0.42
km
6: Merge onto PROVINCIAL ROUTE 405 E. 4.66 km
7: Stay on the 405 until you get to the Niagara Parkway Exit
8: Turn left onto the Parkway and follow the parkway
down the hill heading towards Niagara-on-the-Lake
9: Proceed down the hill onto Line 8
10: Watch for a Shalamar Lake Campground sign
on the left after passing a statue of a solider
