Various parts of the City of Niagara Falls participate in the Winter Festival of Lights by illuminating their areas.
For instance, the Lundy's Lane tourist area (affectionately known as Candy Cane Lane during the Festival) is replete with candy cane displays and lamppost illuminations.
Meanwhile, Queen Street in downtown Niagara Falls is adding LED lights to its boulevards while City Hall Centennial Square, which hosts the official City of Niagara Falls Christmas Tree, is also illuminated.

There is no admission fee to view the illuminations but donations are gratefully accepted (suggested contribution $10 per car), with proceeds used to enhance the lights and displays.
