About the Winter Festival of Lights

A true winter tradition for those visiting Niagara Falls, more than 1.3 million people will experience North America's premier illumination festival from November 5 to January 31. Experience 3 million dazzling lights, over 120 lighting displays, including the world-famous Enchantment of Disney® displays, the spectacular Zimmerman Fountain, the world's largest illuminated Canadian-American Flag and many more!

Also hosting many festive events including Fireworks over the Falls, Opening Ceremonies with Disney®, Christmas Concert Series, CYTEC Candy Cane Lane 5k Race, Canada's largest New Year's Eve Party, and the TD RINK at the Brink - the outdoor, ice skating rink near the brink of the Falls. Experience the pleasure of ice skating a snow ball's throw away from one of the most-famous natural attractions in the world.

While there is no admission fee to view the illuminations, donations are gratefully accepted at the exit of Dufferin Islands. A suggested donation of $5 - $10 per car and $1 per person on bus tours. All proceeds are used to enhance the Festival's lights and displays.
