How long is the trip?
The trip is about an hour and we go 18 miles round trip.
Where does the boat go?
From our departure point, we travel upriver, through the Niagara Gorge and into the Whirlpool. (Oh yeah, and back). Click here for a map of the course.
Has the boat ever gone over the Falls?
No - we are downriver from the Falls.
How many people does the boat hold?
Our Jet Boats hold 48 people.
Can you see the Falls from the boat?
No, you see what happens when the water goes over the brink, and through the river canyon, which is some of the most beautiful scenery in Niagara.
How old do you have to be to ride on the boat?
Wet Jet - At least six years old and 44" tall.
Jet Dome - At least four years old and 40" tall. Under 16 you must have a parent or guardian with you.
Can seniors take part in this adventure?
Absolutely! We have lots of people over 65 - in fact entire busloads of seniors have jetboated. Our record holder is 92 years old.
Do you get wet?
Not just wet! Soaked!
We recommend you bring a complete change of clothes.
Change rooms are available on site to use afterwards.
Can anybody jetboat?
Just about, but we suggest you be in good health. You should not be pregnant or subject to heart, back or neck problems.
Can you fall out of the boat?
While falling out is clearly not a norm, it is important to remember there is an element of risk dealing with any water activity.
Whitewater rescue is part of our Captain and crew training in order to respond quickly and efficiently to any situation. The 10 year history and 500,000 passengers who have experienced the Niagara River Gorge confirm the whitewater expertise of our organization.
How fast does the boat go?
The boat can go up to 65 mph. Really Fast!
We are really good swimmers, do we still have to wear a lifejacket?
Yes - everyone on the water should wear a lifejacket - all of our staff do, and so do all of our guests.
