John White- Born and raised in St. Catharines, John was introduced to the game of golf by his father at age 7. A prominent junior golfer, winning his first major tournament at age 13 shooting 75 at Lookout Point, John continued to show promise throughout his teens. One highlight was at the age of 17, he was low qualifier for the U.S. Junior Amateur. John turned pro at the age of 19. He has had many high finishes in his pro career and after finishing his apprenticeship, he played on the Canadian and Australian tours. Some career achievements are second- Canadian Assistants, third- Canadian Club Pro, many local wins at Pro Ams and tour events. John has also served on the Ontario P.G.A. Bernie Mac Adam- Formerly of Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia has been a member of the C.P.G.A. since 1976, after obtaining Bachelor of Arts and Education degrees from St. Francis Xavier University, Antigonish Nova Scotia. Bernie joined the Beechwood staff in 1995 as Associate Professional after P.G.A. positions at Country Clubs in Ontario. Bernie’s genuine interest & knowledge for the game has seen him attend and successfully complete Canadian & American P.G.A. Seminars on all aspects of the golf business. Bernie is also known in the Niagara area for his hospitality and service to the golfing community.
