How Far in advance can we book a tee time?
Starting the first full week in March we book for the full season.

What information is required?
We do require both a telephone number and credit card number for our 18 hole courses. We ask for this information in order to contact the golfer 5 days prior in order to confirm their tee time. Also should something happen and we need to contact the golfer, this would be our only option.

On our 9-hole course we only require the telephone number.

What do you hold my Credit Card for?
Credit cards are held as a credit card guarantee. We do not process the credit card.

Can I book on-line?
Yes. On our website www.niagaralegends.com you have the ability to book on- line. This service is provided 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

What is your cancellation policy?
We do have a 5-day cancellation policy. Golfers must cancel 5 days prior to their tee time. If they do not cancel or do not show, we may process their credit card. This would be done if we do fail to re-sell the tee time

What if I don't want a cart?
Carts at Legends are mandatory and included in the green fees. Carts are only for players who are 16 year or older. Those under 16 playing Legends must have an adult driving the cart.

Can my friend who ISN'T playing join me in the cart?
Yes, however there is a cart fee of $16.00 dollars involved. Please note that we do not allow infants in carts.

What type of Clubs do you rent?
We rent 13 piece sets, both left, right, men's and women's with stiff and flex shafts. They rent for $35.00 and the player only needs to ask when they come into the Pro Shop.

How do I get to your course?

Directions to Legends on the Niagara

From Peace Bridge (Buffalo, New York)
Follow the QEW to Netherby Road (exit 12). Turn right (east) to the end. At the Niagara Parkway, turn left (north), 7 km to Legends on the Niagara.

From Toronto/Hamilton
Follow QEW to Lyons Creek Road (exit 21). At the end of the ramp turn left (east). Go through the stoplights in the Village of Chippawa to the Niagara River. The road will veer right (south) at the River, follow Niagara Parkway 3 km to Legends on the Niagara.

From the Rainbow Bridge (Niagara Falls, New York)
Take the Rainbow Bridge to Hwy 420 to Stanley Avenue. Turn left (south) to the end of the street. Turn left (east) on Marineland Parkway. Follow it past Marineland into the Village of Chippawa. Turn left (east) at the second set of lights (Lyons Creek Road). At the Niagara River the road veers to the right and is called River Road (south). Follow the Niagara Parkway, 3km to Legends on the Niagara.

What is the course dress code?
We do have a dress code that is in effect. We ask for no denim, collar shirts with sleeves for men. Women are allowed to wear sleeveless collared shirts. No metal spikes.

Do I need a reservation for the restaurant?
Yes, reservations are recommended at our restaurants.

Can I bring a cooler onto the course?
No. We do not allow personal coolers to be brought on the course.

Can I run a tab on the course?
Yes, with a credit card impression. We do advise if you wish to run a tab, that you make these arrangements in advance.

Do you have something on the course?
Yes, we have one beer cart per 9 holes.

Can I run a tab on the carts?
Yes (see above)

Do you have a place where we can just grab a snack?
Yes. We have both a Halfway house and the Beer Carts do carry sandwiches and refreshments.

How can I purchase a Gift Certificate?
Gift Certificates can be purchased either over the phone or by visiting our Pro shop. They can be purchased in any denomination.

How is it sent and when can I get it?
Gift certificates are sent through regular mail to the U.S. and Canada. However in Canada if the gift certificate is required within 3 days we can send it via Express post. In the U.S. the person asking for the certificate will be asked to pay the courier cost.

How long is the Gift Certificate valid for?
Gift certificates are valid for ONE year from the date issued.

What are your hours?
Our Pro Shop is open 7 days a week from Dawn to Dusk. We ask that you come into the Pro Shop prior to your tee time to check in.

What leagues do you have?
We have no open league. They are waiting list only.

How can I join your leagues?
Should you wish to join, we would be happy to take your name and phone number and will be in touch with you.

Do you have lessons available?
Legends on the Niagara offers a Full teaching academy. Hall of Famer, Cathy Sherk, and Associate Professional Geoff Law teach students.

What Packages do you offer?
We have a variety of Packages. We offer a 2 Day Legends on the Niagara Package which is called the Play it Again Package where the Golfer can play 1 or 2 consecutive days at our Legends courses. The fee for this is $220.00 and is inclusive of Golf, Cart, Driving Range and Taxes for both days.

We also have our Parks Pack, where the golfer can play all 3 of our courses over 2 or 3 consecutive days. The fee for this Package is $299 and is inclusive of Golf, Cart, Driving Range and Taxes for all days.

Do you have a toll free number?
Yes, it is 1-866-465-3642 and is valid throughout North America.

Who is your Professional Staff?
Legends on the Niagara is pleased to have Curtis Labelle heading the Professional Staff at Legends on the Niagara.

Do Professional Staff get a Pro Rate?
As a courtesy to our Professionals we ask that you book your tee time through Curtis Labelle. You are limited to one week in advance at restricted times, 2 times per year. Also includes Superintendants and Managers.
*This is a courtesy that is practiced in most Pro shops.

Do you issue rain checks?
If you are calling to cancel your tee time, we do not issue rain checks, as nothing has been paid for. Should you be on the course we will issue you a rain check. (See below).

What if I'm on the Course when it's raining?
Should it be raining when you are out on the course we will issue you a rain check depending on the hole that you are playing. The rule that we follow is:
FRONT 9 - 18 HOLES
BACK 9 - 9 HOLES

Are Reservations mandatory? If so, why?
Yes, reservations are mandatory for tee times. Many times we fill our tee sheets up and have had disappointed players show up only to find out that they cannot get out onto the course.

Can I play as a single?
We only book single players with other bookings. This is done when we have twosomes or threesomes that are to be paired up. Should a single player looking to book when we have a blank tee sheet are to go on a wait list and we will contact them as soon as we have the ability to do so.

What if I don't have a foursome?
We will pair up as many players as possible to make a complete foursome. This is the most efficient use of the tee sheet and we cannot guarantee that you will not be paired up with someone.

What if I really only want to play with my partner?
We do not guarantee that you will not be matched up with someone.

What are your course slope ratings?

Do you have any specials that I can get?
We do offer an Early Bird Special before 9:00am which is valid 7 days a week. This does include Breakfast, Cart and taxes.

My friend received an offer over the internet / e-mail, can I sent in on this?
If you wish to leave your e-mail address we will add you to our e-mail list. We would be happy to include you in any up-and-coming offers that we might have. However, we are unable to send you the most recent special offer.

What size do you consider a tournament?
We consider tournaments to be 20 or over in size.

Can I book a tournament on your course?
Yes, at Legends, our reservation staff will be able to book for you or our Tournament Coordinator.

Can I book a play and Stay Package?
We do have an exclusive tour operator who is Niagara Golf and Wine Vacations. They can be reached at 1-877-356-6385. We can transfer the call directly to them; however, I believe they are closed on the weekends.

What type of Grass do you have?
Legends on the Niagara has bent grass tees, fairways and greens.

What are your twilight times?
Twilight times begin after 2:30pm daily

What if I have to cancel my tee time due to weather?
Since we do not pre-pay your credit card, there is no charge due to weather, however we do ask that you call and cancel your tee time.

Do you issue rain checks?
If you are calling to cancel your tee time, we do not issue rain checks, as nothing has been paid for. Should you be on the course we will issue you a rain check. (See below)

What if I'm on the Course when it's raining?
Should it be raining when you are out on the course we will issue you a rain check depending on the hole that you are playing. The rule that we follow is:
