| Enjoy the culinary skills of the innkeeper Helena whose experience in the kitchens of Canada and Britain has made the breakfasts at Lion's Head "renowned." While in Britain, Helena spent a year training under an executive chef who came from the Savoy Hotel of London and eventually opened up the Sun Inn, a prestigious Michelin Guide rated restaurant.
French classic three-course gourmet breakfasts, elegant settings of fine china, crystal and silver, and a relaxed and personal attention are just the begining.
Breakfast is served at 9:00 AM.
"Foodies listen up!
Niagara Falls’ Lion’s Head Bed and Breakfast host, Helena Harrington delivers in spades. Not only will you get an outstanding breakfast but you’ll have it artfully presented on Bayreuth china and Waterford crystal.
When I was there I had a yummy mixed fruit smoothie, honeydew melon dusted with a flavoured sugar, and a divine French toast souffle with raspberry blackberry compote and strips of crisp bacon. Yours will be equally good. Perhaps grilled pineapple and bananas with a crème topping, stuffed tomatoes with eggs drizzled with an asparagus and asiago cheese sauce served on grilled English muffins."
